Why am I going to USA – short story.
My name is Marcin and I am from Swarzędz. Swarzędz is a town next to Poznań.I was studying at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski high school for three years. Now I am nineteen years old and I am attending the university of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań. I am studying Journalism and Social Communication. I like to speak English a lot, usually when I am home alone. I have never had an opportunity to to check my language skills. I am watching movies in English, but I have never been out of the country for so long.
It will be a big challange for me, but it makes me very excited. I am a very open minded person, I like learning about new coultures. I always wanted to go to the USA, but I never had enough money. Now I have chance not only to visit USA, but also to earn money. It is not so important, but it is a big advantage. I worked in a call center during summer and I was the only person that could speak with english-speaking client so I gained a lot of experience. I have been working for many hours so it is not a big problem for me. I like to gain involved and work hard, especially when I have the opportunity to meet new people from another country.
If I get this chance, it will be a dream come true for me. I return, I promise full engagement, dedication for work and self-improvement, becouse I know that there are many aspects that I need to correct, for example, my expression of excitement.
